can anyone help...

i am currently on a mercy dash to london...travelling parents who are now in hospital over here.....phew is that a story in itself....
i have two weeks in london and am having trouble locating yarn and fabric/craft stores...
what i really want, is to access some japanese pattern books/fabric etc...
if anyone knows of a good shop can you reply to me...
in the mean time i'll keep searching the streets...

what did we do before such technology...

i drafted, and stitched, now it needs a visit to the dry-cleaners for a good press, then off to boarding school it goes...

the fabric is 50%wool 50%poly mix, and i wish i had bought better quality...

with the closest fabric store 80 kms away and that not being very good, it means i usually have to compromise my choice...
(note to self to try shopping online for fabric...)

the lining is 100% cotton voile.... it sits beautifully...
hope it fits....

this might get re-made in better fabric...just not leather...

preparation...

as i look outside the window, its hard to believe that it is may, and the weather should be cool..cold even...

paddocks are being prepared for seeding as we anxiously await for the opening rains to arrive...
winter coats are being prepared as we await the cold weather to arrive...
in the mean time how can i not enjoy this sublime autumn weather with some gardening...
its too good to be inside...
