what good timing...the weather down here is freezing, the gas supply to the state is in disarray, but i have a new winter woolly to keep me warm. finished at last. this wool is sooo lovely to work with, and the colours in it are divine. i am off to gather some more Jo Sharp Yarn...unless anyone can suggest something better to use...
the pattern...now that's another issue...it is on the large side, but i kept stitching hoping all was well and then had gone too far to undo it. i wanted a jacket though, to wear over other things, so in that regard, i think it makes the grade.....if i did it again i would knit down a size....and yes i did a tension square for the first time in my life!!
it took three goes at buying the buttons
clearly i am not the only one that likes Jo Sharp's wool

great cardigan...try debbie bliss wool as an alternative, it is also lovely to work with
the wool, button and finished sweater are fabulous...
it looks terrific, jen!
and the buttons - where did you find those? they suit so well.
Nothing keeps you warm like wool can. And that jumper looks wonderful. I love the buttons you chose.
I LOVE that jacket! Is the pattern available online?
Can't recall how I found your blog, but I'm enjoying it very much.
