button love

this was a quick knit from Ravelry that is lovely to wear. it is a cotton/silk mix from the stash that i don't have the label for. a surprised teenage daughter who received the scarf on the weekend, having bought the yarn years ago to learn to knit herself, was delighted.

truth is.....i just love the hand made wooden button....there is something about the irregular shape, its feel, its jarrah colouring....i found it hard to part with ....
