i started this skirt on the weekend...it has been made and re-made..... but sometimes you just have to give in, and admit that you have lost the war....i'm sure its the fabric, too stiff, too heavy...but i am desperate for some mid season work clothes.... the hem started off longer, then got the chop to just below the knee, then it had an orange cord that gathered it in but that made me look like a marshmallow...a toasted one....so i have stitched down the pleats instead, and now i like its shape and it's look...just not the fabric.......too bad she says...its only for work, i can wear it with boots or leggings as the weather slowly warms up down here....

i think it is wonderful! i do like the fabric, especially with the solid top. i think it will look perfect with boots!
I think it looks great, but what can I say - I'm a pleat kinda gal!
