school holiday sewing..

it's so much easier sewing when you can fit the garment on the intended recipient...not that any of this needed to be that fitted..

if only school holidays could last a bit longer, we might nearly get the winter wardrobe made..

hammer pants... we just layed the fabric on the floor, measure height and waist and cut into it...stitched and added a few finishing touches like a waist band and tie to give them a little finness

cropped cardigan made from less than a meter of woven woolen fabric...copied from memory of a previous shopping expidition...

can you take photos in a change room, or is that too close to breaching copyright...the transition from little girl to fashion interested teenager is difficult...

finding the right clothes in an adult shop that are appropriate for age, and appropriate for price tag is a constant challenge...

thank goodness for my trusty bernina, and thank goodness fashion interested teenager is happy to wear homemade clothes...

i wonder how long that will last...
