she was special to many people...
she knitted a babies blanket for all of her great grandchildren, the eldest is now 23, the youngest 18months...
she is about to have number 17, and it seems no-one else in the family can knit...how can the new bambino be the only one without a blanket..it wont be as special as grannies, but at least he or she can be swathed in a hand knit...
simple..moss stitch border...building blocks...
8ply...100% wool...soft green....lovely....
i think of granny every time i start to knit....
