unfinished business...

i like nothing more than watching my hand made goodness being loved and used by others..
last years blanket...
it gets used every night by someone cuddle up on the couch...
swathed in creamy wool they read or watch television, or sleep...
i have observed from afar, wondering why i think the blanket looks unfinished...
friday night it dawned on me...it is unfinished, it needs an edge...
yesterday i swatched edging patterns most of the day...and last night i got started...
i hope it will then feel complete...
