we have graduated...with laughter and tears....
we have survived leavers week...
we have won two awards...
miss s is very much like her dad...
award 1. citizenship...
but she loves art, textiles, and craft, and most things visual..like her mum...
award 2. materials & design...
Congratulations miss s, your dress was stunning...hours and hours of hand stitching and sequencing...months in the making...all worth it...
But yet, we have come home from boarding school, and now have to fit/stuff all belongings back into bedroom cupboards..
if you could only see that room!!.....

I know exactly how you are feeling. My dd went through same in 2009 - we expected the worst and she did amazingly well. She comes home from her gap year on Wednesday, then heads down to Melbourne to study in February. I go through it all again in just three short years.
We too went through the roller coaster ride in 2007 but her hard work paid off. At the time, my daughter's closet looked like that. Now she studies/lives in ACT and her college room is so much neater - they do come around. Good luck to yours!
