home made is in demand...

shirts abound in this house with 3 grown men all similar in size..
coat hangers full of them...
but no, but we need/want a red chambray....
a homemade red chambray...

with short sleeves..(man i love my twin needle)

and one odd button...

voila...
but not a model to be found...

pattern: Simplicity 7030, an oldie but a goodie..

p.s our rugs from our trip to turkey arrived...
it looked so big when we bought it, and so small in our room..
but i love it, and the memories it provokes every time i look at it...

Great shirt!! Love the fabric and colour. Haven't attempted a shirt yet or my twin needle. Think I better start if this is the result.

Shirt is terrific - recently been feeling the urge for making a blouse or two for myself. Been a very long time since I did something so tailored but looking forward to it (after I clean out my sewing cupboard... so I can get TO the sewing machine).

And I LOVE your Turkish Carpet. Best kind of purchases when associated with fond memories. xx
