georgette shirt...

sewing for miss s is so much easier when she is home for fittings...
our time is running out with holidays drawing to an end...best get a move on with the summer clothes...
georgette shirt...
loose fitting...bell shaped, with tie at the back serving no purpose other than to create a visual interest...
the neckline has hand cut flowers in the same fabric...spread at random, but placed heavier in the centreline....
the pattern is cut from a shirt of mine that miss s has her eyes on...many of my clothes seem to make their way into that suite case bound for school.... hmmmm, good thing her feet are a different size or shoes would go as well....

Hello, I think you should submit this top to Altered Couture, a magazine about craftily embellishing your clothes. Please e-mail me at blivesay@stampington.com if you are interested. Have a great day!
